Schematics.club ("we", "us", "our") operates the website https://schematics.club (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

2. Information We Collect

a) Account Information (via Google OAuth)

When you sign in with Google, we receive and store:

Your name
Email address
Profile picture URL

We only request basic profile information. We do not access your Google Drive, Gmail, contacts, or any other Google services.

b) User-Generated Content

When you save a schematic, we store:

The generated Minecraft schematic file (.schem)
A voxel data snapshot (block grid and palette)
A thumbnail image of your schematic preview
Metadata: title, description, block count, dimensions, and timestamps

We do not store the original 3D model files you upload. All 3D processing happens entirely in your browser.

c) Automatically Collected Data

When you visit or use the Service, we may collect standard web server logs including your IP address, browser type, and referring URL for security monitoring and service reliability. If analytics is enabled, we also collect product analytics through Google Analytics 4, such as page views and core editor events like editor opens, model imports, voxelization runs, schematic exports, and cloud saves. These analytics events may include event metadata such as page URL, approximate device/browser information, imported file extension, conversion settings, and output dimensions/block counts. We do not send the original uploaded 3D model file or voxel snapshot contents to Google Analytics.

3. Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in after authentication. This cookie is essential for the Service to function and cannot be disabled while using an account. If analytics is enabled, Google Analytics may also set measurement cookies to help us understand site traffic and product usage. We do not use advertising cookies, and analytics is used only for product performance and usage measurement.

4. How We Use Your Information

To authenticate your identity and maintain your session
To store and display your saved schematics
To display your name and avatar on publicly shared schematics in the gallery
To enforce usage limits (model count, visibility quotas)
To monitor traffic, understand feature usage, and improve the Service

5. Data Storage & Security

All data is stored on Cloudflare's global network using:

Cloudflare D1 — a serverless SQLite database for account and model metadata
Cloudflare R2 — object storage for schematic files and thumbnails
Cloudflare KV — key-value storage for session data

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest by Cloudflare's infrastructure. We do not sell, share, or transfer your personal data to third parties beyond what is described in this policy.

6. Third-Party Services

Google — OAuth authentication provider. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
Google Analytics 4 — web and product usage analytics provider. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
Cloudflare — Hosting and infrastructure provider. Subject to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

7. Data Retention

Your account information and saved models are retained for as long as your account exists. When you delete a model, its associated files are permanently removed from our storage. You may request full account deletion at any time by contacting us.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Delete your saved models at any time through your dashboard
Request deletion of your entire account and all associated data
Withdraw consent for Google OAuth (revoke access in your Google Account settings)

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we can promptly delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
